Multi-Genre Collection
Why?
Times have changed positivly, but individuals are still in the mindset where there is a constant judgment based on their visual appearance leading to a harsher life both personally and professionally.
Starting at my fiction page you will come across the name “Avery Manhattan” simlpy click on the name or the little facebook logo beside the name and it will take you directly to Avery’s (fake person,fake account will be deactivated after exams) page. I chose to do a facebook point of view as it gives off more of a relatable text form, something as students we are all used to as we are living in the digital age.Continuing on to my research piece I started off with making a quick survey using “google forms” and posted it to my personal facebook profile to get a wider audiance, so it not only fits the students mindframe but the publics, It seemed to have worked very well. For my non-fiction I chose to do an advice column, as it is not something to popular but is still seen around and I thought it would be more of a creative look on this whole multi-genre collection which is what I was going for, the last choice being Multi-Media where i chose to do a painting, to make it more unique, I do not think anyone within the grade eleven english class would have decided to do this, and if so they will still for sure be different kinds of paintings. Repetend throughout my pieces is the constant being juged for something as simple as there appearances with it ending negitivly in one way or another.
